Describe the business in customer terms
Write who you serve, what problems you solve and why a buyer should trust the service. Replace unsupported superlatives with evidence that can be shown: relevant delivery, explained processes or approved qualifications. Your brand should help a customer understand the offer, not make every page sound larger than the facts support.
Connect the message to the site structure
Map major customer questions to service pages, project records, guides and contact routes. Decide what a first-time visitor needs before requesting a quote. A homepage can introduce the business, but detailed service pages should explain scope and next steps. The structure is easier to design when the content hierarchy exists before visual styling begins.
Define usable visual rules
Agree logo versions, contrast, typography, image treatment and layout examples. Test the rules on a mobile service page, a proposal and a social post. A mark that looks attractive on a presentation slide may become unreadable in a small navigation bar. Include simple instructions so different suppliers can maintain a consistent appearance.
Prepare source material and permissions
Collect approved company details, partner wording, project facts and photography. Distinguish real client work from concept illustrations. Assign an approver for each claim and an owner for future updates. This reduces late design changes caused by missing information or an image that cannot be used publicly.
Handover a working content system
Provide editable source files, a concise style guide and templates for recurring material. Document how new services or projects should be written. Review actual use after launch to identify where the rules are unclear. Consistency depends on a process the team can follow, not only on a large brand document stored away.
