Evaluate the website through the tasks customers need to complete, from finding a service to sending an enquiry.
Give each page one clear business purpose
List the questions a visitor needs answered before making contact. A service page should explain the requirement, scope, proof and next step. Place important contact routes where users expect them and make labels specific. A striking hero is useful when it supports that purpose. Do not let animation hide the content or make the enquiry button difficult to find.
Test mobile layouts with actual tasks
Ask a representative user to find a service, read a project and submit an enquiry on a phone. Check text size, tap targets, menus, fields and error messages. Record obstacles rather than asking only whether the design looks attractive. Test slower connections and important device sizes. Large visual assets should be sized appropriately, with content remaining usable while they load.
Include keyboard and motion preferences
Use meaningful headings, labelled fields, visible focus states and understandable link text. Check the menu and forms with a keyboard. Provide a way to pause sustained animation and respect reduced-motion preferences. Decorative imagery should not create a false impression of a real project or staff member. Accessibility is a set of working checks, not a badge added without an assessment.
Measure outcomes and improve the weak step
Agree which enquiries count as useful and which events may be measured with appropriate consent. Review form completion, calls and the transition from articles to service pages. Separate design problems from weak content or an offer visitors do not understand. Change one meaningful part of the journey and review its effect. A successful redesign supports customer decisions and a reliable handover to the business.
